Projet Paysage was founded by Christian Ducharme and Catherine Rioux, and rose to prominence in the 1990s through their design of Québec’s iconic Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort. Even in these early days, the firm was laying the foundation for a broader mission: to create a diversity of human-centric spaces that stay true to and strengthen their sites’ sense of place.

Today, this proud heritage still guides our projects in every sphere, from institutional to municipal to real estate. Our distinctive ethos only grew stronger when two new principals took the helm. Serge Gallant and Maxime Brisebois have led by embracing current thinking while upholding the precept that landscape architecture and design shape our relationships with the world around us.

The spaces we create mature and grow more beautiful with the passage of time. Above all, they foster meaningful connections for the people who spend time in them. This magic happens thanks to a wealth of expertise and a diversity of perspectives. Our accomplished team of landscape architects, planners, urban designers, project managers, 3D modellers, and horticulturists collaborate on every stage of the project, from the drawing board until the shovels hit the ground. One constant is our multidisciplinary approach based on rethinking design at the deepest level – the only sure path to functional, well-used spaces. And our team’s agility makes it possible to adapt to a wide range of contexts, from wetlands to mountains to cities and beyond.
