Illuminated fountain and pavilion at Parc Saidye-Bronfman

Parc Saidye-Bronfman forms the cornerstone of the Triangle area, extending the pavilion’s cultural and community spirit into the outdoors. A focus on multi-use spaces heightens the park’s appeal for the entire neighbourhood.

At the corner of Buchan Street and Victoria Avenue, a small public square provides a perfect venue for seasonal markets and community activities. Sleek water features let young and old alike cool off on hot summer days. The land bordering the building has been reshaped into a natural amphitheatre, with rows ingeniously doubling as paths to the roof, where a lookout offers incredible views of Saint Joseph’s Oratory. The esplanade below lends itself to events, neighbourhood gatherings, and picnics, as well as a skating rink in winter.

An arboretum and street furniture cast a peaceful ambiance at the far end of the park. This botanical haven brings together the various tree species that make up the vast redevelopment project. Day camps and school classes benefit from educational materials, including identifying tags and interpretive panels on water management principles. These myriad features enhance residents’ lifestyles, day in and out, all year round.
