Safety may be everyone’s concern, but spatial planning makes it a reality. Projet Paysage strategically distanced the front parking lot from the school zone and expanded the rear parking area. Intuitive pathways encourage active transportation between buildings, connecting to multiuse areas tailored to meet children’s needs for their motor and cognitive development. A play area was specially designed for young kindergarteners. Further on, concrete benches provide an open-air teaching area. Picnic tables, trees, and a grassy esplanade round out areas for relaxing and unwinding. These features are complemented by multifunctional sports fields on artificial turf, a basketball court, colourful ground games, and ping-pong tables. The result is a green, safe, stimulating, and enjoyable outdoor environment that enriches children’s learning experience.
