In Pointe-Calumet, Super Aqua Club is embarking on a major transformation to renew the entire water park experience. A true iconic summer destination in Québec, the complex has evolved over the years through the addition of new attractions and family-oriented amenities. Projet Paysage has been mandated to develop a master plan that unifies the site’s pathways and spaces, creating a smoother, more cohesive and immersive sense of discovery.
This overall vision is built around a clear hierarchy of circulation paths, well-defined arrival areas and generous gathering spaces that make getting around more intuitive and enjoyable. The approach also seeks to create a better balance between uses by bringing certain swimming areas closer to the slides, allowing visitors to move more naturally between high-energy activities and moments of relaxation. Particular emphasis is placed on visitor comfort by optimizing wait times and creating family areas, shaded spaces and welcoming terraces adapted to both child supervision and entertainment.
Inspired by the atmosphere of large resort and recreational destinations, the concept envisions a lush environment where tropical-inspired vegetation, themed plazas, cabanas and innovative infrastructure come together to create a memorable experience. Key interventions include the addition of a restaurant, spaces designed for groups and events, and a redesigned entrance that streamlines arrival into the park. The design as a whole seeks to enhance the park’s appeal and extend the experience beyond the water attractions.
The first phase of the project, titled “Tropical lagoon,” will be completed in summer 2026.
