Impressive waterfall at Strøm Spa

Through a strategic use of space that showcases the riverfront’s natural beauty, Projet Paysage has elevated the relaxation experience offered by Strøm Nordic Spa in Sherbrooke.

The site’s proximity to the Magog River presented a significant constraint: a limited surface area. Projet Paysage used this challenge as a springboard, letting the river organically shape and guide the spa experience. Rest areas and fireplaces overlook the waterway so that visitors can enjoy the incredible panorama and the privacy it provides. Pools and baths were raised to preserve the water table, and more plants were added to enrich the existing vegetation. An impressive waterfall serves as a striking focal point, while drowning out the urban sounds with its steady, ambient hum. By working with, rather than against, the landscape’s features, Projet Paysage has maximized the spa’s benefits, overlaying the relaxing experience with nature’s renowned healing powers.
