UdeM Science Complex – Outremont Campus

Description

The development project for the new science complex on the Outremont campus consists of a passage, the blue line, punctuated by zones with varied vocations linking the Acadie metro to the science complex. This link, which divides the building from one end to the other, offers the users of the university space for work, rest, and will also serve as a gathering place, as well as having contemplative spaces with a luxuriant vegetation. At the top of the passage are two inner courtyards that offer natural light to the library while winking at Mount Royal with dense vegetation of undergrowth and trees emerging from the library .

The public spaces contain unique urban furniture, lighting highlighting the building and nature as well as refined materials, offering a singular experience and a very attractive place
